I will provide you with compassionate support and empower you to navigate the special education process. My services include, but are not limited to:

• Document review and development of a plan of action;
• Early Intervention Support;
• Preschool Special Education Support;
• Obtaining Academic Intervention Services (“AIS”);
• Initiating the IEP process;
• Reviewing and modifying an existing IEP to ensure that it is meeting your child’s needs;
• Advocating for additional services under an existing IEP;
• Seeking related services such as Counseling, Speech and Language, Physical and Occupational Therapies;
• Obtaining evaluations including a Neuropsychological, Functional Behavioral Assessments (“FBA”) and a corresponding Behavior Intervention Plan (“BIP”);
• Attending Manifestation Determination Reviews (“MDR”) for children who have IEPs; and,
• Seeking compensatory or make-up services.

While my first desire is to collaborate with school districts, I have the skills and the experience needed to proceed to legal action if necessary.

I also facilitate workshops with the intention of empowering parents to successfully advocate for their child’s needs and services.
